We believe great spaces come from a great process and a great process starts with the right people.
Meet Sam
Sam is a creative strategist and design leader with nearly two decades of experience guiding organizations through the creation of environments that express identity, shape culture, and support meaningful work.
His career spans Clive Wilkinson Architects, Rapt Studio — where he served as President — and M Moser Associates. He is known for his ability to synthesize complexity into direction, and to translate ambition into spaces that feel intentional and alive.
At Sleeping Giant, Sam leads strategy and creative direction. He is the force that shapes the vision and ensures what gets built is worth building.
Meet Annie
Annie is a project leader and operations strategist with 18 years of experience turning complex built environment projects from concept into reality. Her background spans commercial interiors at Pivot Interiors and construction management at Summit Construction Management giving her a rare fluency in both design thinking and delivery discipline.
She holds the full picture and the smallest detail at the same time — identifying risks early, building trust across teams, and keeping projects on track without losing sight of what they're meant to become.
At Sleeping Giant, Annie leads delivery, operations, and client experience. She is the force that takes a vision and makes it real.
What Sets Us Apart
Vision and delivery under one roof
Most firms are built for one end of the process or the other. We do both deliberately, and together. Sam leads strategy and creative direction. Annie leads operations and delivery. The result is a single team that holds the full arc of a project, and a client who never has to translate between the two.
Senior attention, start to finish.
At larger firms, the principals win the work and the junior staff deliver it. At Sleeping Giant, the people you meet at the start are the people delivering your project — present, engaged, and accountable throughout. Not just at the pitch and the reveal.
Process that honors the outcome.
We bring the same intentionality to how we work together as we do to what we build. Clear communication, honest counsel, and a process that feels as considered as the environment it produces, because the experience of building should reflect the experience of arriving.
